Parish Council Meetings
Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of each month, with two recesses, taken February and August. Any amendment to these dates will be approved by the Council, e.g. to allow for any Bank Holidays, but will be published on this website
Meetings commence at 6pm. However, start time can vary so please refer to the published Agenda on this website for correct details
In addition, there are two further meetings held annually:
The Annual Parish Meeting is held in April, prior to the Monthly Meeting, where the PC details its accomplishments over the last 12-months and residents can raise any items they wish the PC to discuss and/or take forward on their behalf. This is followed by the Monthly Meeting. External Representatives for the forthcoming year are also appointed at the April meeting
The Annual Meeting takes place in May, where the Chair and Vice-Chair are appointed
WHILST THESE ARE NOT PUBLIC MEETINGS, MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE MOST WELCOME TO JOIN AND ARE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE WITHIN THE PUBLIC FORUM

Parish Council
Stretton Parish Council raises monies via pre-cept, which forms a small percentage of the Council Tax collected by Warrington Borough Council
The monies are allocated by the PC in various ways t o benefit the residents of Stretton, with projects aimed at enhancing the village, retaining its rural identity and bringing the community of Stretton together
